Almost every question we hear lands in one of five buckets: matching, free matches and coins, camera and microphone, your account, or safety. Pick yours below. And if you are brand new, the how it works page walks through your first chat step by step before you troubleshoot anything.
Matching & Getting Started
First chat nerves are normal — the mechanics are not. Three quick answers cover most of it:
Matching Questions
How do I start my first video chat?
Open ChathubMatch, allow camera and microphone access when the browser asks, and press Start. You are matched with one person for a private 1v1 video chat — no sign-up needed to try it.
Why is matching taking a while?
Matching is usually quick, but it depends on how many people are online, the time of day and your connection. If it stalls, reload the page and try again — and double-check that your browser allowed camera access.
What does the Next button do?
Next ends the current chat instantly and finds you a new match. Use it as often as you like — skipping is a normal part of random video chat, not a snub.
Free Matches & Coins
The short version: ChathubMatch is free to start, your first match is free, and longer or premium sessions can use coins. Our free video chat page lays out exactly what is free and what costs coins. The common questions:
Free Matches & Coins Questions
Is ChathubMatch free?
It is free to start — your first match is free, with no sign-up to try. Longer or premium sessions can use coins, and any cost is always shown before anything is spent.
What are coins for?
Coins pay for optional extras — longer sessions or premium features once your free matches are used. You always see the coin cost before you confirm, so nothing gets spent by accident.
My free matches ran out. Now what?
Once the free matches are gone, continuing means picking up coins for longer or premium sessions. There is no pressure either way — whether to spend is always your call.
Camera & Microphone
Camera and mic problems feel scary but are almost always a browser permission or a busy connection — both fixable in a couple of minutes:
Camera & Mic Questions
My camera is not working. What do I do?
Nine times out of ten it is a browser permission. Click the lock icon next to the address bar, set Camera to Allow, and reload the page. Also check that no other app — a meeting tool, say — is already using the camera.
Why can nobody hear me?
Same fix as the camera: check the microphone permission in your browser site settings. Then make sure the right microphone is selected and you have not muted yourself inside the chat.
The video keeps freezing. How do I fix it?
That is usually the connection, not the camera. Move closer to your router, pause big downloads, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Restarting the match often helps too.
Account Questions
You can try ChathubMatch with no account at all. When you do create one, two questions come up more than any others:
Account Questions
Do I need an account to use ChathubMatch?
Not to try it — your first match needs no registration at all. An account becomes useful when you want to hold a coin balance or come back to the platform with everything where you left it.
How do I keep my account safe?
Use a password you do not reuse anywhere else, and never share a verification code with anyone — including people claiming to be from ChathubMatch. Real staff will never ask for one.
Safety & Reporting
Anything that feels wrong deserves action, not tolerance. The safety center has the full rundown on moderation, blocking and reporting — the two most asked questions are right here:
Safety Questions
How do I report someone?
Tap Report inside the chat, pick the reason that fits best, and send it off. The safety team reviews every report — the person you reported never sees your name.
Someone made me uncomfortable. What now?
End the chat, block the user, and report what happened — in that order. Blocking stops contact immediately, and your report gives the review team the context to act on.
Still Stuck? Talk to a Human
If none of the above solved it, contact our support team and a real person will pick it up — we usually reply within one business day. Tell us what you expected, what happened instead, your device and browser, and roughly when it happened. Those four things skip most of the back-and-forth.
One thing never to include: your password or a verification code. Support will never ask for them, and anyone who does is not from ChathubMatch.
